James Albee James Albee
was probably born in Braintree, MA between 1641 and 1650; but no record
of his birth has been found. The HISTORY OF MILFORD says, "He
was undoubtedly a man of large landed possessions and social
influence." No record of his death has been found; but he was
living as late as March 26, 1717, when he executed a gift deed of land
to his daughter Lydia and her husband. He m. Medfield, MA, October

December 10, 1730, Samuel Daniels, b. Sherburn, MA, April 3, 1708; d. c. 1746; son of John and Sarah [Durham] Daniels, and that she m. 2nd, in 1756 Thomas White of Mendon; but it seems more likely that she is the Sarah Albee who m. Mendon, June 1708, Stephen Porter. 7 Lydia, b. Mendon, [not recorded] c. 1690; d. Douglas, MA, October 3, 1776; m.
